This shallow wooden salad bowl allows for the opportunity to make a more
artistic presentation of a salad. Not everyone wants to have
a deep pit of greens. Some may want to create a salad
with emphasis on the ingredients displayed and the artistic
presentation. Another advantage to a shallow bowl is when
serving chips the guests are more inclined to pick up a chip
without diving down into the bowl and reducing the chips to
crumbs. How about a mixed salad decorated on top with pear,
peppers and avocado slices framed all round by lucsious shrimp
hanging on the Black Walnut Rim. This salad bowl lets your imagination
go to work. Crafted in Yellow Birch with a contrasting rim of
American Black Walnut and finished with the Vermont Bowl Company's
proprietary hand-rubbed finish for years of long lasting simple care.
