We offer this bowl in American Black Walnut (above), Cherry (below, left), and
now Block Design (below, right). And of course the Vermont
Bowl Company applies many applications of their proprietary formulation hand-rubbed to
give it lustre and life. The Signature Bowl is available in
Large 15" and Medium 12" diameters (each 4-1/2" high), as well
as Individual 7" diameter (3" high).
What is Block Design? For a truly exceptional
wooden salad bowl, might we suggest John McLeod's block
design Signature Bowl (shown to the right). One of the Scottish traditions
of turnery is alternating block colors. John McLeod is showing
us his background here with this unique bowl design.
Cherry and new Block Design. *Please Note: The rich red hue of our cherry wooden bowls will deepen considerably
over time. The trained eye can tell new versus seasoned cherry wood, both of
which have their distinguishing visual qualities.
