Two Mountain Jack Cheese 1/2 lb. bars
by Sugarbush Farm #SUGARBSH05 $14.50
Monterey Jack move over, there's a new cheese in town!
A delightfully mild cheese that is the Vermont variation
of Monterey Jack. If it calls for Monterey Jack, use Mountain Jack.
Why? If you often cook with cheese, then you know that an exceptional
dish requires a perfect blend of recipe ingredients, along with a precise
cooking process. One ingredient not up to par or one step out of
sequence, and the resulting dish is at best, filling.
Sugarbush's Mountain Jack is a superior cheese that will
make your homemade tacos, nachos, Mexican burritos, southwestern pizzas,
and Crabmeat Enchiladas (see below) a home run!
About Sugarbush Farm -
When you think of Sugarbush Farm, think of a small 550 acre working farm
located in central Vermont. Jack and Marion Ayres bought the
farm in 1945 with a dream to make a go of country living.
They were the first folks in Vermont to start packaging cheese
in waxed bars so they would travel well without refrigeration.
Second generation Betsy Luces, her husband Larry, along with their sons and their wives are
now working together to keep this family farm alive.
Sugarbush Vermont cheese is made the traditional way - a small
operation which ensures great cheese flavor and exceptional
quality. All Sugarbush cheeses are hand cut, hand wrapped, and hand dipped
in three coats of special cheese coating wax that locks in the
peak flavor and allows for safe shipping and long keeping.
Here's a recipe for seafood enthusiasts, Crabmeat Enchiladas with Mountain Jack Cheese.
You can substitute canned or artificial crabmeat, but we prefer using fresh snow crab or
stone crab. A little mild green pepper sauce on top and an enchilada never tasted so good!
This, and 19 other cheese recipes along with serving & pairing tips
can be found in our new recipe booklet entitled

It's a wonderful resource, offering fun recipes for some of
Vermont's best cheeses. They are recipes that we enjoy and hope
you will also.
For a little extra we'll even package your Vermont cheese order in a
stylish gold gift tin with ribbon and "Vermont Gift"
tag (select below). Inside the tag we'll write your gift message.
Over the years we have found that our customers are, most
of the time, giving the cheese they order as a gift,
therefore a decorative gift tin just makes sense. The entire
gift is then re-boxed for safe delivery. The presentation
will be perfect!
