CREAMY and SMOOTH
Sugarbush's mellow cheddar is aged approximately
6-10 months. Unlike sharp cheddars, Mellow doesn't have
that tangy bite, but rather a subtle flavor. It's a mild cheese.
If you find yourself reaching for mild cheeses in your grocery,
or perhaps your family eats a lot of American sliced cheese, try
Mellow. Excellent for both cooking and with crackers. A
great choice when kids will be at the table and other cheddars or
artisanal cheeses are a bit too sharp.
About Sugarbush Farm -
When you think of Sugarbush Farm, think of a small 550 acre working farm
located in central Vermont. Jack and Marion Ayres bought the
farm in 1945 with a dream to make a go of country living.
They were the first folks in Vermont to start packaging cheese
in waxed bars so they would travel well without refrigeration.
Second generation Betsy Luces, her husband Larry, along with their sons and their wives are
now working together to keep this family farm alive.
