Leave the butter out, it's in the butter keeper!
You've gotta try it to believe it! This amazing piece of pottery
will keep your butter fresh for days, even when it's left out on the counter.
Simply change the water every so often and the butter will always be fresh.
Here's how it works - Make sure the pottery is very clean and dry
before starting. Press butter into the top (cap shape) and fill
the bottom (the bowl shape) with a little cold water. Now, invert the top
filled with butter and place it into the bowl until the water almost
spills out. There should be enough water in the bowl to surround the
butter inside the cap. That's it! Change the water every 3-4 days and the
butter will remain fresh. It's ingenious!
Butter Keeper is handmade and painted in Vermont
by artist Anna Fadeley.
The pottery is lead-free, microwave and dishwasher safe. It measures
5-1/4" across x 3-3/4" high and is signed on the
bottom by the artist. Because of the handmade nature of the pottery,
there will be some variations in shape, size and color.
