Introduced this year (2009), Chocolate-Maple Bark was developed
by MAPLE CITY CANDY, an old-fashioned candy store in Northern Vermont and
our maple sugar candy maker. The candy is a 1 lb. fusion of delicious chocolate
and pure Vermont maple sugar, snapped into chunks of "bark". Two layers of chocolate,
crushed maple candy bits, and maple sugar are all combined to make the "bark".
The candy is then packaged in a gold gift tin lined with wax paper, wrapped with a
brown, green, red, or white ribbon. The gift tin is then re-boxed in a
USPS Priority Mail box for safe and quick delivery. If you haven't tasted
chocolate-maple before, you gotta try it! It's delicious! Best of all,
you won't find this candy in stores. Most people have seen and tasted
Peppermint Bark, but Chocolate-Maple Bark is all new!
Ingredients - sugar, hydrogenated palm kernel oil and
cottonseed oils, nonfat dry milk, cocoa, dry whole milk,
pure maple sugar, glycerly-lacto esters of fatty acids,
artificial maple flavoring, lecithin (an emulsifier), salt, and
vanillin (an artificial flavor). Made in a facility that also
produces products that contain; peanuts, tree nuts, dairy,
and wheat.
