Sorry! You get no discount for guessing why this wood is called Zebrawood. Out of Africa, and it is to the best of our knowledge the most strikingly figured wood there is. John McLeod made his first exotic wood Zebra bowl after his arrival in USA in 1967. Now after a long hiatus we are back crafting bowls in many foreign wood species. We carefully choose the woods plank by plank so that we work with the best figuring and the best coloring available.
