Tall Mahogany Bowl
a "Masterpiece" bowl
This bowl is the most organic design we produce at
this time. Crafted from South American Mahogany this
bowl stands high at 7" tall and is 12" in diameter. The
top edge is cut obliquely and a scallop is introduced in
which to rest a set of servers. The scallop is optional
and we will omit it as a special request. To get the size
of block required to make this bowl we utilize 3 or 4
large pieces of Mahogany which are meticulously jointed
and glued. This is what we would term a Masterpiece Bowl
and could take its place in any exhibition. The rich color
quality of the Mahogany shows in all its glory as the grain
changes from edge to end. Sealed with our special finish
the simple care which this bowl requires is a light
washing and thorough drying.
