Padauk with Yellow Birch Bowl

The bright orange, yellows and rusty-brown sugar maple tree leafs paint the mountains - Ah, fall foliage in Vermont! It's a special time of year and a time to bring out special serving pieces. The orange-red color of padauk wood is reminiscent of Vermont's fall foliage colors. In this bowl Padauk, a southeast Asian tree, sometimes called Vermilion because of it's distinctive color, is accented with Vermont Yellow Birch. Over the years Padauk mellows to a rich ruby red. This exclusive bowl is not a production run, it is a limited edition for our customers who appreciate exceptional wood craftmanship, quality, and design. Available in two sizes; Medium (11-1/2" diameter, 6 quart) and Small (9-1/2" diameter, 4 quart). The Medium bowl will serve 6-8 nicely, while the Small is ideal for more intimate gatherings.
