Long Board
It is fun to see customers look and handle
the Long Board. Watching closely you can see
the visions of a long baguette of French Bread
or an obliquely sliced sausage or a selection
of canapes come in to their minds eye. A board
which serves tasks ranging from the cutting of
celery and cucumber to the realization of
those first visions. The Long Board is:
20" x 6" x 3/4" thick.
Available in yellow birch with black walnut accents and Old Home Week brand as a tribute to
Wilmington Vermont's Old Home Week,
August 12-15, 2010. Held every 10 years, the event is best described as a town
reunion, a celebration of Wilmington's citizens, past, present
and future, and an honoring of the town's history.
