European Style Candles

Our European style candlesticks are tall and elegant. They gracefully hide a secret, hidden in the base of each candlestick is 3/4 of a lb. of cold steel. Their secret gives them stability and allows these candlesticks to avoid the risk of tipping over. Turned from Yellow Birch with a brass candle cup to avoid marking of the wood should you let the candle burn down too low. Hand finished with our special lustrous coating. The height of these beauties is 13" tall and they are 3 1/4" in diameter at the base. We have paired the hand dipped candles of our friends at Danica Design with these sticks to make a wonderful gift set.

I (John McLeod) got quite shock the other day when I realized that I had known Eric and Cindy, who make Danica Hand Dipped Candles, for over 30 years. We were all starting out in business in the craft world and charging around going to Craft Shows trying to make ends meet and being young and crazy!! Crazy maybe, but talented and 30 years later a history of successful business is the proof. They make their candles in Maine and we are proud to be able to link Danica Candles with our woodenware.
